Western Australia curriculum edition. A free Year 2 maths lesson plan on skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s, set out as a 55–60 minute run-sheet. Students warm up with a Number of the Day task, watch the teacher model jumps along a number track, then continue skip-counting patterns in guided practice, extra practice, an exit ticket and a reflection. Modelled answers for the extra practice are included.

Students will:
• Skip count by 2s, 5s and 10s
• Continue and complete skip-counting patterns
• Identify the size of each jump in a pattern
