A free Foundation science memory game where children match living things to one of their features, such as bird and feathers, fish and scales or snail and shell. Children play with twelve cut-out cards and only keep a pair if they can say why the cards match. Includes harder variations, differentiation and teacher notes.
Part of the "Looking Closely at Living Things" sub-unit. Aligned to AC9SFU01 (Australian Curriculum v9).
Students will:
• Match living things to their external features
• Explain why two cards belong together
• Sort pairs into groups and describe the rule
