A hands-on Design & Technologies project where students investigate, design, produce and evaluate a pulley-and-lever system that lifts a small load, following the full design process with a design brief, materials list, testing sheet and self-evaluation rubric.
Aligned to ACTDEK024, ACTDEP029, ACTDEP030 (National).
Students will:
• Investigate how a pulley or lever changes the force needed to move a load
• Design and build a working model using the design process
• Evaluate a design against clear success criteria
