A Year 2 Geography mapping activity where students draw a map of their suburb from a bird's eye view. Students draw the big features first, such as buildings, roads and the oval, add smaller features like shops, the park and the bus stop, label each one and create a key with colours or symbols, with differentiated options and teacher notes.
Part of the "Zooming Out" sub-unit. Aligned to AC9HS2S02, AC9HS2K03 (Australian Curriculum v9).
