A Foundation visual arts sharing activity in which the class holds its own art exhibition. Each child chooses one artwork from the unit, gives a sentence for its label in their own words, and practises being a respectful audience by looking carefully, saying something kind and true, and asking the artist a question. Detailed teacher notes support the set-up.
Part of the "Making Something That Says Something" sub-unit. Aligned to AC9AVAFP01, AC9AVAFE01 (Australian Curriculum v9).
Students will:
• Choose one of their own artworks to share
• Say one thing about their own artwork
• Make a kind comment about someone else's artwork
